A New Way to Heal
More Than a Weekly Appointment.
Psychiatry, individual therapy, and group support — coordinated by one clinical team.
Disconnected therapy visits and once-in-a-while psychiatry leave too many people stuck. Guardian’s intensive outpatient programs bring everything together, several days a week — so meaningful change can happen in months, not years.
Psychiatry & Medication Management
Board-certified psychiatric providers who see you regularly — not once a quarter — and fine-tune treatment as you progress.
Individual Therapy
Weekly one-on-one sessions with a licensed therapist who knows your whole story and works from one coordinated plan.
Group Therapy
Small, clinician-led groups where you’re understood without explaining yourself. For many clients, this is where the breakthrough happens.
CBT & DBT
Evidence-based methods that turn insight into practical skills — for low mood, rumination, and overwhelm.
Trauma-Informed Care
Clinicians trained to recognize and treat the experiences underneath the symptoms, at a pace you control.
Licensed Clinical Team
Licensed therapists and psychiatric providers, supervised clinical programming, and measurable treatment goals reviewed with you.
Social Anxiety
Treatment for the Fear of Being Seen.
Yes — we know a group program sounds like the worst possible idea. It’s actually the cure.
Social anxiety isn’t shyness; it’s a fear system misfiring around other people, and it runs lives — careers declined, calls unanswered, years narrowed. It also happens to be highly treatable, with the strongest results coming from exactly the thing it fears: safe, structured practice with others.
The Fear of Judgment
The conviction that everyone sees the flaw — treated with CBT that tests the prediction against reality, gently.
Physical Symptoms
The blushing, shaking, and racing heart that become their own thing to fear. Treatable on both fronts.
Avoidance & the Shrinking World
Every avoided event teaches the fear it was right. Treatment reverses the lesson, one safe step at a time.
Medication, When It Helps
For some, medication lowers the floor of anxiety enough to make the therapy work. Weighed openly with your provider.
Why This Works for Social Anxiety
The Group Is the Treatment.
The Power of Group, for Social Anxiety
For social anxiety, group therapy isn’t just support — it’s exposure therapy with training wheels. A small, kind, clinician-led room where you can be seen, stumble, recover, and discover that nothing terrible happens. Confidence built there transfers to every other room.
Groups are small, clinician-led, and confidential. You share when you’re ready — being present counts from day one.
Coordinated Care, Aimed at Social Anxiety
Individual CBT builds the skills, the group provides the practice field, and medication support is available when the anxiety is too loud to learn through. One team reviews it all weekly and walks the pace up only as you’re ready.
That coordination is what makes months of intensive care do the work of years of disconnected appointments.

Common Questions
Answers Before You Call.
How much does treatment cost?
Most insurance plans include mental health benefits that can cover intensive outpatient care in full or in large part. We verify your exact benefits for free before you commit to anything, and self-pay options are available.
Will anyone find out I’m in treatment?
No. Your care is protected by HIPAA. We never share information with employers, family, or anyone else without your written consent — and our locations are discreet, ordinary office settings.
What should I expect in the program?
Most clients attend three-hour sessions several days a week — a mix of group therapy, individual sessions, and regular psychiatric check-ins. Your schedule, goals, and progress are reviewed with you every week.
How is this different from weekly therapy?
Frequency and coordination. Instead of one hour a week with one provider, you get multiple sessions weekly with a team that shares one plan. That concentration is why many clients see in months the progress that took years before.
Can I keep working while in the program?
Yes — that’s the point of the design. Day and evening tracks let most clients keep their work and family commitments. Many attend the evening track without anyone at work knowing.
Do I need to be in crisis to qualify?
No. The right time to call is when what you’re doing isn’t working — whether that’s persistent low mood, anxiety that runs your schedule, or simply feeling stuck. If we’re not the right fit, we’ll help you find what is.
