How long is inpatient rehab?
Most residential stays run 2 to 4 weeks, often following a 5-to-10-day detox. Length is set clinically — your team reviews progress with you each week and adjusts the plan to what you actually need.
Can I have my phone? Can family visit?
Policies are designed to protect your focus early on, with phone access and family visits typically expanding as you progress. Family contact is encouraged and structured — it’s part of the therapy, not a reward.
Can I keep my job while I get help?
Often, yes. Many clients use FMLA or short-term disability for detox and residential care, and our outpatient programs offer evening tracks designed around work schedules. Our team can walk you through the paperwork confidentially.
How much does inpatient rehab cost?
For most people with insurance, inpatient rehab can be covered in full or in large part. We verify your exact benefits for free before you commit to anything, and we offer self-pay rates and financing for those without coverage.
What should I bring?
Comfortable clothing for about a week, your ID and insurance card, and a list of current medications. We’ll send a complete packing list once your admission is scheduled — and we’ll tell you what to leave at home.
What happens after residential treatment?
You step down, not off a cliff — into PHP, IOP, or outpatient care in person at a Guardian outpatient program or over secure video, with your aftercare plan built before you discharge.
