What We Treat

Safe, Comfortable Detox for Every Substance.

Withdrawal is the hardest door to walk through — we make sure no one walks through it alone.

Detox at Dallas Addiction Center is medically managed around the clock. Our clinical team eases withdrawal symptoms, watches over your safety, and builds the bridge to the next stage of your recovery — all on one campus.

Alcohol

Alcohol withdrawal can be dangerous without medical care. Our team manages symptoms safely and comfortably, 24 hours a day.

Opioids & Fentanyl

Evidence-based, medication-supported detox for heroin, fentanyl, and prescription opioids — designed to keep you comfortable from day one.

Benzodiazepines

Carefully tapered, physician-directed detox for Xanax, Klonopin, Ativan, and other benzodiazepines.

Cocaine & Stimulants

Structured support for cocaine, methamphetamine, and prescription stimulants — including the exhaustion and depression that follow.

Polysubstance Use

Many people arrive using more than one substance. Our medical team builds a single, coordinated plan for all of them.

Co-Occurring Mental Health

Anxiety, depression, and trauma often travel with substance use. We treat the whole person, not just the withdrawal.

Why Dallas Addiction Center?

Some places treat the environment as an afterthought. We treat it as part of the medicine. When your body is exhausted and your nervous system is on edge, a calm room, a good meal, and the ocean air do real clinical work.

Behind the comfort is a serious program: physician-led detox, daily evidence-based therapy, and a team that has guided thousands of people through their first weeks without alcohol.

Worried About Someone You Love?

You don’t need them to be “ready.” You just need to call.

From the people and families who walked this path before you.

★★★★★
“I flew in from Ohio scared out of my mind. Someone met me at the airport, and by that night I was in a real bed with a nurse checking on me. Dallas Addiction Center gave me my life back.”

Kevin S. Alumni · Dallas Addiction Center

★★★★★
“The campus is beautiful, but what stayed with me is the people. My therapist saw through twenty years of excuses with so much kindness that I finally stopped making them.”

Laura B. Alumni · Dallas Addiction Center

★★★★★
“We sent my husband to Dallas Addiction Center after two failed attempts elsewhere. The difference was the continuity — the same team from detox through discharge. He’s two years sober.”

Common Questions

Answers Before You Call.

How much does detox cost?

For most people with insurance, detox can be covered in full or in large part. We verify your exact benefits for free before you commit to anything, and we offer self-pay rates and financing for those without coverage.

Will anyone find out I’m in treatment?

No. Your care is protected by federal privacy law (HIPAA and 42 CFR Part 2). We never share information with employers, family, or anyone else without your written consent.

How long does detox take?

Most medically supervised detoxes take 5 to 10 days, depending on the substance, how long you’ve used, and your overall health. Your medical team adjusts the plan daily so you progress at a safe, comfortable pace.

Can I keep my job while I get help?

Often, yes. Many clients use FMLA or short-term disability for detox and residential care. Our team can walk you through the paperwork confidentially.

I don’t live in Texas. How does travel work?

Many of our clients travel to us — and many find that distance from old routines helps. Our team can help arrange flights and will meet you at the airport. Travel can often be organized the same day you call.

What happens after detox?

Detox is the beginning, not the destination. Before you discharge, your clinical team builds your next step with you — residential care and step-down outpatient on the same campus — so the progress you make continues without interruption.
